ybro.net is a personal, experimental website for showcasing projects. I keep things simple and respectful of your privacy. Below is a plain‑English summary of how this site works and the terms for using it.
Privacy Policy
- No tracking. I do not run analytics, tracking pixels, ads, or fingerprinting scripts.
- No data collection. I don’t collect or sell personal data. Interactive projects run in your browser.
- No accounts. There’s no login/registration on this site.
Note: some projects load content from public APIs (e.g., to display my social posts). Those requests go directly from your browser to the service and are subject to that service’s policies.
Shared Hosting & Server Logs
This site is hosted on shared hosting. The hosting provider may automatically create server logs (e.g., IP address, user‑agent, timestamps, requested pages) for security, diagnostics, and reliability. I don’t use these logs for analytics, and I don’t combine them with any other data. I may review them only to troubleshoot or investigate abuse.
Future Forms (Not Currently Active)
If I add an optional form in the future (e.g., a mailing list), it will be clearly labeled and purely voluntary.
- What I’d collect: Only the information you submit (e.g., email address).
- How I’d use it: To send updates related to my projects. No sale or sharing for advertising.
- Opt‑out & deletion: You’ll be able to unsubscribe anytime. You can also request deletion of your info.
Your Choices
- Use content blockers or private browsing if you prefer.
- Don’t submit personal info unless you’re comfortable with me using it to contact you about the site.
- You can request removal of any voluntary information you provided (see Contact).
